This is officially my first-ever blog... I thought it would be a worthwhile thing to have because in just a few short months, Mark and I will be moving to Pensacola, Florida where we won't know anyone except for a few of his TBS classmates! We're being spoiled right now in Stafford, VA with most of our friends and family close by. It's a nice transition into the Marine Corps life to have them around, but it's not permanent-- soon we'll really be on our own.
I'll just use this as a way to share pictures, keep friends and family updated on our lives, and let you all be a part of our journey with the Marine Corps.
Three weeks ago, I started a position as a writer/editor for Leatherneck- Magazine of the Marines, a publication of the Marine Corps Association. I absolutely love it so far, and I'm getting great experience in the publishing field.
